50 journaling prompts for self-discovery

I was gifted my first journal at the age of 11. I can still remember the feel of the glossy cover, the weight of the little gold lock that helped keep my secrets safe and the light fragrance of it's rose scented pages. Since then, I've consistently kept a journal, these days it's less about which boy I like at school and instead it has become my best tool for living a heart-led life.

I use journaling in a number of ways:

  • To help me process emotions and feelings
  • To break down fears and tune into truth
  • To set intentions
  • To practice gratitude
  • To connect with my internal guidance/intuition
  • To deepen my connection to myself

Journaling is a tool I recommend to my clients all the time, to help them foster their own self awareness. So, today I thought I would share 50 of my favourite prompts for self-discovery.

How to use the prompts
