Notes for the weekend

Happy Sunday friends! I'm super excited as Greg returned from almost 2 weeks in the US today.  I know it might sound silly as it's only been a couple of weeks but it's just not the same without him here. Luckily, I've had teenagers and dogs to keep me company (and busy!).

Feeling grateful for:

+ The time to repaint our hallway this week. It desperately needed doing as there were marks and scratches from kids and dogs. Now it's looking lovely and fresh.

+ Snuggling under blankets with tea, journals and books. I've been leaning into my desire to hibernate a little of late. If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I intentionally took a break from social media - largely because I've found myself feeling very overwhelmed with life. I'm going to do a whole post in the near future but it's been lovely to slow down the pace.

+ Messages from you guys! When I announced on Insta that I was taking some time away I received a heap of messages, well wishes and little love notes. It honestly made my heart expand, THANK YOU.
