You may have noticed it has been a little quiet around here, and if you follow me on Twitter you will probably have noticed I haven't been too visible there either.

This wasn't an intentional thing, it was just that there seemed to be a natural break in my timetable.  The coming few months are going to be busier as I start to work with some new coaching clients and hopefully pick up some NVQ assessing work too but last week was a quiet one and I relished the slower pace.

The kids were off school for Easter and my (not quite) mother-in-law came to stay so there was lots of family time, long lunches, dog walks and quiet afternoons reading and pottering about.  Slowing down for a while really left me with a sense of gratitude for the little things that make up my everyday - for my relationships, lessons learnt, small moments.

I feel refreshed, renewed and revitalised.
